Thomas Flament has work experience in the field of remote sensing and meteorological research. Thomas began their career in 2013 as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Prototyping Researcher for Ground Processing at the Centre National de Recherche Météorologique. Since November 2021, they have been working as a Remote Sensing Scientist specializing in Doppler Wind Lidar at EUMETSAT.
Thomas Flament attended ISAE-SUPAERO from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Aerospace Engineering. In 2009 to 2010, they also studied at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, obtaining a Master 2 degree in Geosciences. Later, from 2010 to 2013, Thomas pursued a Doctorate in Philosophy specializing in Remote Sensing and Glaciology at the same university.
