Chris Kubic has extensive work experience in the field of information security. Chris has held various roles, including Chief Information Security Officer at Euna Solutions (formerly GTY Technology) since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Fidelis Cybersecurity from 2019 to 2023. At Fidelis, they were responsible for leading and directing corporate security and compliance activities, providing security guidance to product development teams, and overseeing enterprise security efforts.
Before joining Fidelis, Kubic had a long career at the National Security Agency (NSA). From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer, where they developed and executed the agency's security strategy and directed various security initiatives. Chris also held roles as a Senior Security Architect for NSA's Cloud Infrastructure and the Intelligence Community Information Environment. In these positions, they focused on enhancing cloud security, developing information assurance architectures, and providing security guidance to the intelligence community.
Furthermore, Kubic served as the Chief Architect of the Information Assurance Architecture and System Security Engineering Group at NSA. Chris guided and mentored security architects and engineers in providing security engineering services for critical research and development programs. Before joining the NSA, Kubic worked as a Project Engineer in the Strategic System Concepts and Standards field. Chris was responsible for the design and development of secure voice and data equipment.
