Michael Strunz-Kroll has a work experience spanning over several decades. Michael started off as a Trainee and Working Student at IBM in 1985. After that, they worked as a Network Design Engineer at Interoute for a year before joining Firstmark Communications as a Manager of the Core Network. Michael then moved on to LambdaNet, where they served as Manager of Network Planning for five years. Following this, they worked as a Senior Network Architect at TeraGate AG. In 2009, they joined LambdaNet again, this time as the Head of Network Operations until 2012. In the same year, they joined euNetworks and held the role of Head of Network Operations until 2024. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Technology Officer at euNetworks.

Michael Strunz-Kroll attended Berufsakademie Stuttgart from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Michael then went on to attend Freie Universität Berlin from 1989 to 1993, where they studied Informatics and Slavic studies.
