Leiza Brumat

Leiza Brumat currently serves as a Senior Research Fellow at Eurac Research, focusing on a project related to policy implementation in South America. In addition to this role, Leiza is an Associated Researcher at the United Nations University - CRIS and has previously held a Research Fellow position at the European University Institute. Brumat's research expertise encompasses regional and global migration governance, particularly within the context of South America, alongside political dynamics in the Global South. Leiza's academic career includes postdoctoral research at CONICET, lecturing at various universities, and contributions to scholarly publications on international migrations, regional integration, and international law. Leiza holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences and multiple master's degrees in International Relations and Trade.
