José Oñate López has a diverse work experience in various roles related to machine learning and data analysis. José started their career as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Universidad del Norte in 2010 and worked there until 2013. José then joined Gas Natural Fenosa in 2011 as an Applied ML Engineer, where they developed a neural network model for fraud detection in the energy service. José was also responsible for implementing an optimization process to rank customers by fraudulent probability. In 2014, José transitioned to a Data Analyst role at Gas Natural Fenosa, where they worked on the BI Reporting Platform, handling ETL processes and creating dashboards using Tableau. In 2016, José joined Genesys as a Data Scientist.
