Andrew Hoenisch

Andrew Hoenisch has extensive work experience in the life sciences industry. Andrew is currently the Director of Business Development - Discovery Services at Eurofins Discovery since April 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Business Development Manager at the same company from January 2022 to April 2023. Andrew also served as a Technical Sales Specialist from March 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining Eurofins Discovery, Andrew worked at Pace Analytical Life Sciences as the Director of Biopharmaceutical Services from February 2017 to March 2021. Andrew was responsible for overseeing various aspects of biopharmaceutical services.

Additionally, Andrew worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions as the Quality Control Laboratory Manager from April 2014 to February 2017.

Andrew's earlier experience includes positions at PPD, where they held roles such as Senior Group Leader, Group Leader, Associate Group Leader, Senior Scientist, Scientist, and Associate Scientist from 2004 to 2014. Andrew also worked as an Intern at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative in 2009.

Prior to that, Andrew worked at Marshfield Clinic Health System as the Lead DNA Extractor from August 2002 to May 2004. Andrew started their career as an Assistant Scientist at PPD from June 2001 to August 2002.

Andrew Hoenisch obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire between 1998 and 2000. Andrew then pursued a Masters degree in Biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, between 1995 and 1997, they attended the University of Minnesota, where they studied Chemical Engineering.
