Jonas Gunnarsson

Jonas Gunnarsson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the transportation industry. Jonas currently serves as the Managing Director at EuroMaint Rail AS. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Fleet Maintenance at EuroMaint Rail AB, where they were responsible for the overall profit and loss of the company's rolling stock maintenance work. Before that, they worked as a Senior Business Advisor at WSP Sverige, where they led the New Trains public procurement project for DSB.

Jonas also has a significant background at Bombardier Transportation, where they held various positions such as Head of Rolling Stock Engineering and Site Manager, Director CEE Rolling Stock Bid Engineering, Site Manager CEE Rolling Stock, Director Engineering, and Manager Systems & Products. Jonas was actively involved in managing Engineering projects, including detailed design and commissioning, as well as leading project teams.

Additionally, Jonas has experience from Volvo Construction Equipment, where they worked as a Manager in both Drive Train and Body Design areas. Jonas also worked at Volvo Aero Corporation as a Fluid Mechanics Engineer. Starting their career, they served as a Research Engineer at KTH, conducting experimental investigations and teaching Basic Mechanics.

Throughout their career, Jonas has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in managing large-scale projects in the transportation industry.

Jonas Gunnarsson began their education at Ållebergsgymnasiet, where they pursued Technical Senior High School studies from 1986 to 1989. Following this, they enrolled at Luleå University of Technology and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1989 to 1995. Additionally, in 1994, Jonas briefly attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for studies in Fluid Mechanics.
