Camelia Quek is a CINSW Research Fellow at Cancer Institute NSW and has been affiliated with the University of Sydney as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow and Honorary Senior Lecturer since 2016. Camelia Quek supervises and mentors students in cancer translational research, serves as a panel chair for PhD evaluations, judges conference presentations, and reviews abstracts for various symposiums. In addition, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Melanoma Institute Australia, Camelia Quek leads research projects focused on tumor microenvironments and directs a multidisciplinary team. Camelia Quek is also an EACR Ambassador, promoting professional development among Australian cancer researchers. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Medicine and Health from the University of Melbourne and multiple degrees in advanced science and biotechnology.
