Lysette Portano

Lysette Portano is an experienced professional in the arts and operations field, currently serving as Operations Junior Coordinator at the European Association for International Education since June 2022. Formerly, Lysette held the position of Program Coordinator at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts, managing communications and logistics for visiting artists and coordinating programs across various college units. With a decade-long career as a professional dancer, Lysette has performed with contemporary dance companies in Mexico City and Houston, contributing to notable collaborations including the Super Bowl Houston 2016. Lysette's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Arts Leadership from the University of Houston and an International Affairs degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
