Amr Y. El Banna

Amr Y. El Banna has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in credit risk management. Amr served as the Head of Credit Risk at EBRD since July 2018, overseeing the organization's credit risk strategies. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Credit Officer at EBRD from 2012 to 2018. Before joining EBRD, Amr held various positions at prestigious financial institutions including Al Rajhi Bank, Ahli United Bank, National Bank of Kuwait, and CIB. Amr has extensive experience in credit risk assessment, managing remedial and watchlist accounts, and analyzing credit portfolios.

Amr Y. El Banna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The American University in Cairo, having attended from 1992 to 1997.
