Yulia Martyushina has a strong background in banking and infrastructure. Yulia began their career in 2005 as an Advisor to the General Director at the North-West Directorate of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation. In 2010, they joined EBRD as a Business Procurement Specialist in the Transport Sector of the Banking Department. Yulia went on to become the Principal of Banking Procurement in the same department in 2015. From 2013 to 2019, Yulia held the position of Vice-Chair of the EBRD Staff Council. Most recently, they served as the Associate Director of the Sustainable Infrastructure Business Group at EBRD.
Yulia Martyushina attended Saint-Petersburg State Politechnical University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Specialist/Master's equivalent degree in Government and Financial Management. Yulia also pursued a joint program with PMI at Saint-Petersburg State University of Economy and Finance in 2007, focusing on Project Management. In 2009 and 2010, Yulia obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Higher School of Economics. Additionally, they became a Charterholder of the CFA Institute, specializing in Finance, from 2015 to 2017. Yulia also obtained the CFA certification in 2018.
