Erik Van Der Marel

Erik van der Marel is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in both academia and consulting. Since October 2013, Erik has served as a Senior Economist at ECIPE and an Associate Professor at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Additionally, since December 2012, Erik has been working as an Economist (Consultant) for The World Bank. Previous positions include Lecturer roles at the London School of Economics and Sciences Po Paris from 2008 to 2013, and Assistant Research at NYSE Euronext in 2002-2003. Educational achievements include a PhD in Economics (summa cum laude) from Sciences Po, an MA in European Politics from the College of Europe, and an MSc in International Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
