Stéphane Roussel

Stéphane Roussel serves as a Partner at the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund since November 2020, focusing on investing in growth-stage companies and projects within the European bioeconomy. Roussel also holds board member positions at Weenat, RED Horticulture, Trapview, ELICIT PLANT, and Aphea.Bio since 2022 and 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Board Member for NOHMs Technologies, Inc. and as a Board Director at MATHYM. Roussel's tenure at Solvay from 2011 to 2020 involved roles such as Managing Director of Solvay Ventures, overseeing Corporate Venturing activities, and director of Rhodia Ventures. Roussel holds multiple degrees in chemistry, biochemistry, and chemical engineering from École Polytechnique, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and ENSPM.
