Katarzyna Harpak, PhD, currently serves as Programme Manager for Poland at the European Climate Foundation since January 2015, contributing expertise as a Senior Associate and previously as an Associate for Central and Eastern Europe. Prior experience includes the role of Energy Project Manager at Frank Bold, where analysis of the EU and Polish energy markets was a focus, alongside monitoring relevant legislative developments. Additionally, Katarzyna held various academic positions as a Junior Lecturer at both Jagiellonian University and the School of Social and Economic Sciences, teaching operational research, econometrics, and European Law. Early career experiences encompass internships in significant institutions, including the Institute for Strategic Studies and the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. Katarzyna holds a Doctor of Economy (PhD) from the University of Warsaw, a Master’s degree in European Union Politics and Law from The University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Politics from London Metropolitan University.
