Alexandru Marin

Alexandru Marin is a seasoned project and program manager with extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving business transformation initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at the European Commission since May 2021, Alexandru oversees a diverse project team within the DIGIT (C3) Directorate. Previous roles include Senior Program Manager at Oracle, focusing on strategic programs for business growth, and Senior Assurance Manager responsible for critical account management, as well as project management positions at Deutsche Telekom Services Europe and IBM. Alexandru has a solid foundation in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Jira, and various Oracle SaaS products. A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering was earned from Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” din Galați between 2005 and 2009.
