Gerry Kelly

Gerry KELLY is a seasoned Information Technology professional with extensive experience at the European Commission, currently serving as a Senior Information Technology Engineer since May 2023, focusing on the transition from SharePoint On Premise to SharePoint Online while providing guidance on user communication and project management. Previously, from 1987 to 2020, Gerry KELLY held the position of Deputy Head of Unit for IT in DG Translation, managing IT services for a large team of translators. Earlier roles included serving as Head of the information system team at DG AGRI, where Gerry KELLY focused on developing applications for member states, and various engineering positions starting with electronic design on the JET project and responsibilities in networking and information systems at DG JRC. Gerry KELLY holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University College Dublin, obtained in 1980.
