Christine Cullen is a seasoned communications expert with significant experience in both project-based and media relations roles. Currently serving as the Communications Expert at the European Forest Institute since March 2021, Cullen leads communications for the KAMI project, focusing on the sustainability of Malaysian and Indonesian palm oil through strategic communication initiatives. Prior to this, Cullen worked at INTERPOL from October 2011 to October 2020 as an Editorial and Press Officer, where responsibilities included writing various digital and print materials and managing media relations. Cullen also has a background in journalism, having worked as a Staff Writer for Ocean City Today from 2005 to 2011, covering a wide range of local and state issues. Cullen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honours) from McGill University.
