Katriina (Brita) Pajari has extensive experience in research support and event management, currently serving as a Research Support Officer at the European Forest Institute since 1994, with previous roles including Project Administrator and R&D Support Administrator. Pajari also manages and coordinates EFI events as a Conference Manager and has contributed as a Seminar Coordinator and Researcher, with a focus on terminology and statistics during various periods. Additionally, Pajari served as an Expert for the European Commission from February 2020 to February 2021, evaluating H2020 calls. Previous research work at the University of Eastern Finland, formerly the University of Joensuu, concentrated on the effects of climate change on soil respiration and nutrient cycling. Pajari holds a Master of Science degree in Forestry from Joensuun yliopisto.
