Michaela Foster

Michaela Foster, PhD, is an expert in sustainable agricultural value chains and governance at the European Forest Institute, where work includes supporting sustainable cocoa initiatives, enhancing transparency in forest-risk commodity supply chains, and promoting inclusive land-use planning and forest restoration. Previous roles include serving as a Data and Policy Analyst at the European Forest Institute and conducting research on environmental policy analysis, forest governance, and conservation while pursuing a PhD at Yale School of the Environment.
