Marco Ranieri

Marco Ranieri currently serves as a Communication Adviser and Assistant to the Head of Unit at the European Research Executive Agency (REA), focusing on Widening Participation and Spreading Excellence under Horizon Europe. Previously, Marco held various roles including Communication & Events Officer at the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME), where responsibilities included work on circular economy initiatives. At the European Commission, experiences ranged from supporting the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations to managing document flow and financial procedures in international cooperation. With a diverse background in project management and communication across multiple organizations, Marco has also contributed to academic settings as a lecturer and researcher, while holding a leadership position at Cosmopolitalians.eu. Educational achievements include advanced studies in International Trade & Finance and International and Diplomatic Studies, with numerous certifications in development cooperation and management.
