Maruxa Touceda

Maruxa Touceda is an experienced architect and researcher specializing in sustainable development. Currently serving as an architect at DDS+ since June 2019, Maruxa also works as an external expert evaluator for the European Research Executive Agency. Previous roles include architect and researcher with + research and Université Libre de Bruxelles, focusing on life cycle assessments and socioeconomic criteria in housing retrofitting. Maruxa's career began with early-stage research on sustainability and energy efficiency at the ABIO-UPM Research Group and has included collaborations on various architectural projects in Spain. Maruxa holds multiple advanced degrees in architecture and sustainability from prestigious institutions, including the Université libre de Bruxelles and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
