Morten Sandgaard has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1994, they worked at Maersk Medical as a Business Unit / Group Controller for six years. Morten then joined Merck in 2000 and held various roles such as Finance Manager, Sr. Internal Auditor, and Director of Finance & Administration, where they played a crucial role in the establishment and growth of the company's Irish subsidiary. From 2010 to 2013, they worked on business development and commercial strategy at Merck, driving innovation and restructuring the commercial organization in Scandinavia, Baltics, Austria, and Switzerland. In 2013, they joined LEO Pharma A/S as the Director of Head of GSM Business Finance and later as the Director of Corporate Business Finance, leading financial integration, project management, and data analysis for global projects. In 2017, they moved to Better Collective as the Sr. Director of Group Finance, overseeing the financial aspects of the organization. Currently, Morten Sandgaard serves as the Chief Financial Officer at European Sperm Bank starting from 2023.
