Niovi Nicolaou

Niovi Nicolaou is a Postdoctoral Researcher at European University Cyprus, focusing on colorectal cancer and glioblastoma research, while supervising MSc students. Previously, Niovi served as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at EPOS-Iasis R&D, contributing to the FET Open GLADIATOR Project, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics, where research was conducted on a novel mutation in a Cypriot CMT1A patient. Other roles include teaching Molecular Cellular Biology and Microbiology, designing science curricula for various educational levels, and working as a research associate on the StemCure Project at the University of Sheffield. Niovi holds a PhD in Pre Clinical Oncology, an MSc in Oncology, and a BSc in Genetics, all from the University of Nottingham.
