Sarah Lammers has a diverse work experience in the field of security and law enforcement. Sarah started their career in 2000 as an Investigator at Polizei Berlin, where they worked for 14 years until 2014. Sarah then joined the United Nations as an International Police Officer in a peacekeeping mission from November 2007 to December 2008.
Sarah later joined Europol in 2014 as an Operational Analyst and worked in this role until July 2016. After that, they transitioned to the role of a Security Analyst at Europol from August 2016 to December 2021.
Currently, Sarah is serving as the Head of Security Intelligence and Travel Security at Europol, a position they have held since January 2022.
Sarah Lammers has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law Enforcement and Investigation from Fachhochschule für Verwaltung und Rechtspflege Berlin, which they completed from 1997 to 2000. Sarah then went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Security Management from The Berlin School of Economics and Law from 2011 to 2013. In 2018 and 2019, Sarah also obtained an Advanced Certificate in Global Risk Analysis and Crises Management from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
