Roger Catchpole possesses extensive experience in environmental and conservation roles, currently serving as a GRC Tribunal Member at the First Tier Tribunal since November 2021 and as a member of Eurosite since April 2020. As an SCS Grade 1 in the UK Civil Service since June 2013, Roger has contributed to public service for over a decade. Previous positions include Honorary Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, where involvement spanned from January 2010 to December 2015, and Founder Director at Aspen International from June 2011 to June 2013. Roger has also held significant roles in Natural England and English Nature, contributing to national scientific and conservation efforts. Academic credentials include a BSc (Hons) and PhD in Ecology from the University of Leeds, supplemented by earlier education at Writtle University College and Michael Hall Rudolf Steiner School.
