Matt Hettermann has worked in the engineering industry since 1998. Matt began at Nanostream as an Engineer in 1999. From 1998 to 2005, they held the role of Senior Engineer at Clinical Micro Sensors, Motorola, and Osmetech. During this time, they worked on all aspects of instrumentation and software development, and was a principal engineer on handheld prototype development. Matt was also a key member of the first product team and next generation product team. In 2005, they were appointed Vice President of Engineering at Superprotonic, Inc., where they were responsible for all IT and much of Operations-related functions. In 2009, they moved to SAFCell as Vice President of Engineering, where they drove development of prototypes, internal test stations, software, and other engineering at a revolutionary fuel cell R&D company. Matt was a key member of the team rebooting the business after Superprotonic shutdown due to the global financial crisis. In 2012, they joined EUV Tech as Vice President of Research & Development, Director of Systems Engineering, and Director of Engineering.
Matt Hettermann attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology from 1990 to 1994, where they received a High School diploma. Matt then attended Caltech from 1994 to 1998, but did not receive a degree.
