Senja Koivusalo

Senja Koivusalo has extensive experience in human resources and people management. Senja is currently the Chief People and Culture Officer at Evac Group, where they oversee integrated water and waste management systems for various industries. Before joining Evac Group, Senja served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Metso Outotec and Wärtsilä. Senja also held several HR leadership roles at Microsoft, where they focused on talent development, leadership development, and change management. Senja's career includes senior HR management positions at Itella and Nokia, where they led strategic people management initiatives and supported business units in implementing changes and initiatives. Senja has a strong background in recruitment, employer branding, and workforce development.

Senja Koivusalo earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, where they attended from 1999 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management & Leadership at Swansea University from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, in November 2021, Senja obtained a certification as a HHJ / Certified Board Member from Tampereen kauppakamari.
