Jim Button

Jim Button is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the brewing and marketing industries. Currently a Writer at Gather With Jim since February 2017, Jim has been documenting a personal journey following a terminal cancer diagnosis. As Co-Founder of Village Brewery since January 2011, Jim oversees Community Affairs among other responsibilities. Jim also serves as a Strategist at Evans Hunt, focusing on marketing strategy. Previously, Jim held a position on the Board of Directors for Beer Canada from September 2014 to February 2021, contributing to the growth and success of Canada's brewing sector. Jim's background includes serving as VP of Corporate & Community Affairs at Big Rock Brewery and Director at Venture Communications, along with co-founding The Event Group Inc. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph, obtained between 1983 and 1986.
