Michelle Kogan

Michelle Kogan is an experienced art instructor with a robust background in teaching various art disciplines. Currently serving as an instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago since September 2022 and at the Evanston Art Center since 2004, Michelle offers classes in Children's Illustration, Figure Drawing and Painting, Plein Air Watercolor, Watercolor, and 2-D Drawing and Design. Additionally, Michelle has taught Plein Air painting at the Lincoln Park Conservatory since 2012 and conducted workshops at the Emily Oaks Nature Center from 2009 to 2012. Michelle's earlier experience includes teaching at the Chicago Botanic Garden and serving as an adjunct instructor at the College of Lake County. Michelle holds an MFA in Painting from Northern Illinois University and a BFA in Drawing & Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
