Mark Watt

Mark Watt is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in value-oriented growth capital and technology investments. As Co-Founder, General Partner, and CCO of Kilonova Capital since June 2019, Mark focuses on providing structured capital solutions to later-stage deep technology companies, investing between $25-150 million in proven businesses with strong technological advantages. Mark also serves as a Partner at MJW Holdings, where Mark engages in incubator, advisory, and seed investment activities, with particular knowledge in frontier technology, internet solutions, and fintech. In addition to these roles, Mark is an investor in several companies, including Aymium, X-Bow Systems Inc., FlexEnable, Nanosys, Civic Technologies, and EVELO Electric Bicycles, among others. Mark's educational background includes an Executive Development Program from The Wharton School, a Chartered Accountant designation from ICAS, and a Bachelor of Laws in Commercial Law and Space Law from the University of Aberdeen.
