Archisman Lahiri

Archisman Lahiri has over 20 years of work experience in the maritime industry. Archisman started their career in 2001 as a Project Manager at Vision Comptech, where they were responsible for marine software development. In 2004, they joined Ocean Sparkle Limited as the General Manager (Technical), a role they held until 2010. Archisman then moved on to Adel Shipping & Logistics Ltd, where they served as the General Manager from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, Archisman became the Chief Engineer and Marine Professional at Maritime Industry. Additionally, they also operated their own consultancy, Cmaark Marine Consultancy, conducting third-party ship surveys in West Coast of Africa from 2016 to 2021.

Archisman Lahiri obtained a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Varsigma Consulting. In 2017, they completed an Executive Education Programme in General Management for Shipping at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Archisman also holds a Diploma in Maine Engineering from the Institute of Engineers (India). Archisman'shighest level of education is a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Marine Engineering, which they earned from the Marine Engineering and Research Institute between 1983 and 1987. Prior to that, they attended Bidhan Chandra Institution, Durgapur for High School from 1980 to 1982, and Ramakrishna Mission, Narendrapur for their primary education from 1977 to 1980. Additionally, Archisman Lahiri holds a certification as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from VarSigma Consulting, which was obtained in September 2017.
