Joel Saju

Joel Saju is an accomplished engineer currently working at UL Solutions as an Engineer in Specialty Appliances since June 2024. In addition to this role, Joel serves as an Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) with Event Medical Solutions and has held multiple leadership positions within Illinois Tech Motorsports, including VP of Operations and President. Joel's previous experience includes roles at Boeing as an Airplane Captain Intern and at HabitAware as a Quality Assurance Specialist, among others. Joel completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology, building on a solid foundation established during high school at John Hersey High School, where Joel earned a diploma.
