Sarah Troy

Sarah Troy has over 17 years of experience in event management. Sarah began their career in 2004 as a Conference Services & Sales Manager at The Banff Centre. In 2007, they moved to Pacific Destination Services Inc. as a Program Manager, where they directed all logistical elements of high end corporate, incentive and association programs. In 2008, they took on a maternity leave contract as an Event Manager at the University of British Columbia. In 2010, they founded and directed their own personal event consulting agency, Troy Event Consulting, specializing in a full suite of event services. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as an Event Sales Manager at the Vancouver Aquarium, where they coordinated the marketing, sales, planning and execution of events. In 2018, they moved to the Fairmont Royal York as a Conference Services & Catering Manager. In 2019, they worked as a Program Director at Green Living Enterprises. In 2020, they began working at Exhibition Place as an Event and Meeting Co-ordinator. Sarah is currently employed at Eventbase as an Enterprise Account Manager and an Associate Account Manager.

Sarah Troy attended Capilano University from 2006 to 2007, obtaining an Advanced Arts & Entertainment Management Certificate. Sarah also attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained an Event Marketing degree in the fields of Public Relations, Sports Marketing, and Special Event Marketing.
