Bryan Mayes

Bryan Mayes has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Bryan started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Strasbaugh, where they worked on mechanical design, developed software, and redesigned computing systems. Bryan then moved on to Yahoo! as a Senior Engineering Manager, leading a team of engineers for their ConnectedTV product. After that, they became a Consultant at Wedgewood Ventures before joining One Kings Lane as the Director of Engineering. At One Kings Lane, they led various engineering teams and worked on web performance and internal tools. Bryan then worked at RokketLaunch Inc, where they developed software for an early-stage startup. Currently, Bryan is employed at Eventbrite, where they have held multiple roles, including Senior Software Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering. In their current role as Senior Director of Engineering, they lead teams in finance engineering and is responsible for payments, pricing, tax, and payouts. Throughout their career, Bryan has shown leadership skills, built engineering offices, and established companies in new locations.

Bryan Mayes completed their high school education at Capistrano Valley High School from 1990 to 1993. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, graduating in 1998.
