Kareem Suggs

Kareem Suggs has held various roles in the field of HRIS and HR systems throughout their career. Kareem started their career as a Human Resources Intern at Madison Area Technical College in 2011. From there, they joined Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center as an Assistant Teacher in 2005 and was later promoted to Lead Teacher, where they supervised and facilitated activities for children.

In 2012, Kareem transitioned to Spectrum Brands, Inc as a Human Resource Coordinator and eventually took on roles as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Systems Analyst, Senior Talent Acquisition Systems Analyst, and Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday). Kareem worked with the company until 2020 before moving on to a role as a Senior Workday Consultant at Fiserv for the following year.

In 2021, Kareem joined NerdWallet as an HRIS Lead and later became a Senior HRIS Lead in 2022. Kareem is currently working at Eventbrite as a Manager of People Systems & Analytics, a role they started in August 2022.

Kareem Suggs attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Kareem specialized in Management & Human Resources and Real Estate, studying at both the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wisconsin School of Business.
