Alexander Hein's work experience begins in 1998, where they worked as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they were a Finance Controller Europe at Punica Getranke GmbH, responsible for setting up and leading the Shared Service Center for all European subsidiaries. Alexander also collaborated with Private Equity shareholders and played a role in the M&A selling process to PepsiCo International, as well as implementing a new ERP software. Alexander then worked as a Finance Controller at Pepsico Germany in 2005 and as a Finance Director Germany at Del Monte Fresh Produce Company from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, Alexander joined ECE Projektmanagement G.m.b.H. & Co. KG, initially as the Head of Department local Organisations, then as the Head of Department General Ledger & Consolidation, and finally as the Director of Finance and Accounting/General Ledger until July 2020. Since October 2020, they hold the position of Director Central Finance at CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA.
Alexander Hein has a diverse education history. In 1993, they began their studies at the University of Hamburg, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Business Law. Alexander successfully completed their degree and obtained a "Diplom Kaufmann" in 1998.
After their undergraduate studies, Alexander pursued executive education programs to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2014 to 2015, they attended the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they completed an Executive Education program focused on Advanced Leadership and Management.
In recent years, Alexander has also pursued several executive education programs at Columbia Business School. In 2018, they took an online program called "Driving Performance and Change." In 2019, they completed another program at Columbia Business School, focusing on M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) through the First Finance Institute. In 2020, they enrolled in the International Certificate in Corporate Finance program at Columbia Business School.
Additionally, Alexander Hein obtained a certification as a German CPA (Certified Public Accountant) from the Wirtschaftsprüferkammer KöR in December 2004.
