Karsten Elbrecht

Karsten Elbrecht has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of commercial and sales management. Karsten started their career as an intern at Helsinki Telephone Cooperation in 1999. From there, they worked for mobilcom AG as a Team Leader in sales channel own shops and later became the Head of Online Sales. In 2005, they joined CTS Eventim AG as the Head of Online Sales and Marketing. After that, they worked at XING AG as the VP of Market Development and then returned to CTS Eventim AG as the Vice President of New Business. In 2010, they became the Managing Director of Ticketonline Software GmbH. Karsten later became the Managing Director of CTS Eventim Sports GmbH in 2011. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Commercial Officer Ticketing Germany and Vice President Sales at CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA.

Karsten Elbrecht completed their education in various institutions, starting with their diploma in Business Administration from Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel. Karsten obtained this degree between 1997 and 2000. In 1999, they briefly attended the University of Business Economics in Vaasa, where they studied Business Administration. Moving forward, Karsten pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Management from the Multimedia Campus in Kiel and the University of California in San Diego, USA. This program spanned from 2000 to 2003.
