Malik Williams

Malik Williams is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in political campaigns and government affairs. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Internal Affairs and Strategic Development at Events DC since April 2023, Malik previously held roles including Finance Director for the DC Proud 2023 Inaugural Committee and Campaign Manager for the Re Elect Muriel Bowser Our Mayor 2022 campaign. Prior experience includes positions such as Deputy Chief of Staff and Interagency Manager at the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, as well as serving as the DC State Director for Biden for President during the 2020 campaign. Malik's early career features leadership roles within the Mayor's Office of Clean City and the Mayor's Office of Community Relations & Services, along with experience as a Regional Field Director for the Muriel Bowser campaign. Malik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from Lincoln University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
