Jonathan Fontanez

Jonathan Fontanez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jonathan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Eventuall since March 2022. Prior to that, they founded their own company, StreamXR LLC, in January 2021 and served as the Founder until March 2022. In 2020, they worked as a Lead Architect at Vaco.

Before that, Jonathan held various positions at different companies. Jonathan worked as a Senior Frontend Developer and Development Manager at Bandwidth Inc. from May 2017 to February 2020. Jonathan also founded their own company Getdiff in July 2017, where they remained until January 2020.

Furthermore, Jonathan served as an Engineering Manager at Pendo.io from May 2016 to May 2017. Jonathan contributed significantly to the development and enhancement of the Pendo web dashboard, implemented a Javascript aggregation framework, and prototyped a chrome extension approach for designing guides.

Prior to Pendo.io, Jonathan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at VCE, the Virtual Computing Environment Company, from March 2012 to May 2016. In this role, they led the development of web management applications and mentored junior developers on Fullstack technologies.

Jonathan's professional journey began at echoBase, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2011 to March 2012. During their time there, they designed and implemented web dashboards for doctors and a data analytics platform.

Before echoBase, Jonathan served as a Web Application Developer at Unitrin from March 2007 to June 2011. Jonathan played a key role in designing and maintaining various web applications and integrating a Single Sign-On solution.

Jonathan's career started at Bennetts Business Systems, where they worked as an Application Developer from March 2006 to March 2007. Jonathan developed reporting applications, managed a web application, and performed network administration tasks.
