Jeremy Whiting

Jeremy Whiting has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies within the medical and design engineering industries. Jeremy currently holds the position of Director of Technical and QARA at Eventum Orthopaedics Ltd. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technical Officer at Axis Spine Technologies.

Whiting also worked at Surgical Innovations Ltd as a Research and Development Manager, where they successfully managed a team of 10 and implemented a compliant Design Control QMS process.

Before that, they pursued consulting and contracting roles from 2017 to 2019. Whiting's previous experience includes working as a New Product Development Manager at JRI Orthopaedics, where they grew the team from 3 to 8 and recruited high-caliber candidates.

Whiting also served as the Head of Own Design at Mamas & Papas, leading a team of 4, and as a Project Manager for DePuy Synthes Companies. Jeremy was responsible for managing R&D projects and establishing business objectives.

Additionally, Whiting held the position of Head of Group Product Development at Bristan Group Ltd, managing design, production engineering, and product management.

Jeremy'searlier experience includes working as a Consultant Project Manager for DePuy Synthes Companies, where they gained expertise in regulatory submissions and successfully delivered various projects.

Whiting's career began as a Senior Design Engineer at Dyson Appliances Ltd, where they led projects and supervised junior engineers. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of successful project management.

Jeremy Whiting's education history includes a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Cranfield University from 1989 to 1991. In their early education, Jeremy attended Kings Gloucester from 1982 to 1989, although the degree name and field of study are unknown. Additionally, Jeremy has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including FDA Design Control: The Design History File from NSF Health Sciences in April 2016 and ISO 14971 Risk Management Training from the same institution in 2015. Other certifications include Managing People for Results from EEF The Manufacturers Association in 2012, SHL competency based interviewing from SHL Ltd. in July 2008, and Unigraphics 3D CAD: modelling, freeform, drafting & assemblies, where numerous upgrades have been made since May 1997.
