Jessie Mueller

Dr. Jessie Mueller has a diverse work experience spanning over different positions and companies. They began their career as an Administrative & Research Assistant at Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine in 2002. Following this, they worked as a Core Curriculum Consultant Intern at Education Service Center Region 12 in 2006.

Dr. Mueller then joined Baylor Scott & White Health in 2007, where they served as a Resident Physician and later became an Assistant Medical Director & Senior Staff Physician. In this role, they provided high-quality medical care in an urgent care clinic, achieved the highest patient satisfaction scores, and supervised residents and medical students.

In 2015, Dr. Mueller joined ELITE PATIENT CARE, PLLC as the CTX Regional Medical Director. They remained in this position until 2019 before transitioning to Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals, LLC as the Quality Director & Hospitalist.

Their most recent position is at Humana, where they started in 2019. At Humana, Dr. Mueller has held several roles, including Reviewing Medical Director in the Texas and MidSouth regions. They were also the Corporate Medical Director/Physician Trainer, responsible for training new hire physician medical directors and leading various educational initiatives for nursing staff. Additionally, they have been involved in developing tools and presentations to improve concordance and utilization of resources.

Throughout their career, Dr. Mueller has received recognition and awards for their excellence and leadership skills, such as the Humana Excellence and Leadership Award and a Humana Star Award.

Jessie Mueller, MD, MBA, CMD completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Afterwards, they pursued a Medical Doctorate (MD) at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2006. Later in their career, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Texas McCombs School of Business in 2015. Additionally, they acquired a certification in Building Business Acumen from Acumen Learning in 2023.
