Gavin Higgins Ceng Frina

Gavin Higgins has over 30 years of work experience in the shipbuilding industry. Gavin currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Everett Ship Repair since 2019. Prior to that, they held the same position at Nichols Brothers Boat Builders from 2014, and also as the Chief Operating Officer from 2012. Before joining Nichols Brothers, Gavin worked as the General Manager at Shelburne Ship Repair from 2011 to 2012. Gavin has also worked at Derecktor Shipyards, where they held various roles including VP Business Development from 2009 to 2011, Director of Project Management from 2007 to 2009, and Chief Operating Officer from 2001 to 2007. Earlier in their career, Gavin served as the General Manager at R.E.Derecktor Inc. from 1994 to 2001, and as the Chief Engineer at R.E. Derecktor Inc. from 1988 to 1994.

Gavin Higgins CEng FRINA has a background in Mandarin I Intensive from New York University. Gavin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture from Solent University. Additionally, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
