Rebecca Arshawsky

Rebecca Arshawsky is a skilled professional with extensive experience in program development and research in urban planning and design. Currently serving as a Program Officer and previously as a Program Coordinator at Evergreen Canada since September 2022, Rebecca focuses on youth engagement through the Future City Builders program and the creation of a public space playbook. Prior roles include Project Support at the Institute without Boundaries, where Rebecca contributed to publications on climate-ready communities, and Researcher at HOUSE Ontario, working on multi-tenant housing data collection. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, focusing on landscape observatories and Indigenous mapping projects, as well as involvement in various roles at Evergreen Canada and Varsity Publications Inc. Educational credentials include a Postgraduate Degree in Interdisciplinary Design Strategy from George Brown College and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Toronto.
