Noura Al Moubayed has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Noura began their career as a Researcher at Mercedes-Benz AG, where they applied evolutionary algorithms for automated software testing. Noura then pursued a PhD at The Robert Gordon University, focusing on the development of bio-inspired optimization methods. Noura later joined the University of Glasgow as a Research Associate in Machine Learning, working on the European Network of Excellence on Social Signal Processing project.

Following this, Noura worked at Durham University, first as a Senior Research Associate in Machine Learning, where they developed unsupervised deep learning methods for anomaly detection in Big Data. Noura then advanced to the role of Assistant Professor before becoming an Associate Professor. Noura also holds the position of Treasurer at ACM-W UK and is an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence.

Currently, Noura is the Head of Applied Machine Learning and AI at Evergreen Life. Noura has a strong background in data analysis and has led projects funded by the Ministry of Defence. Noura's expertise lies in the detection of suspicious behavior from unstructured and unlabelled data.

Noura Al Moubayed holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, UK. Noura completed their PhD from 2010 to 2014. Prior to their PhD, Noura obtained a Master's Degree from Hof University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2008.
