Matthew Banach Ed.d.

Matthew Banach, Ed.D., currently serves as Principal of Evergreen Park School District 124 since July 2015, where leadership has focused on the implementation of new curriculum in ELA, math, and science, as well as strengthening PBIS practices and interventions. Prior experience includes the role of Regional Director for the Archdiocese of Chicago from July 2009 to June 2015, providing support to 56 elementary schools in various areas including academics and strategic development, and forming partnerships to enhance instruction for English learners. Matthew also served as Principal of St. Agnes of Bohemia School from August 2002 to June 2009, managing a $1.8 million budget and overseeing a staff of 40 for 465 students. Educationally, Matthew holds a Doctor of Education degree from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Education degree from DePaul University, and dual bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Government from the University of Notre Dame.
