Sharon Marshall

Sharon Marshall is the SVP & General Counsel at Evergreen Trading. Sharon has over 28 years of experience in the legal field and has held various positions at different companies.

Marshall started their career as an Associate in the Health/Corporate Department at Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. After five years and nine months, they left to become the Corporate Counsel at The DSN Companies. Two years later, they were promoted to EVP, General Counsel at Active International where they worked for 19 years. In their most recent position, they have been with Evergreen Trading for 8 years and 10 months as their SVP General Counsel.

In their role as SVP General Counsel, Sharon is responsible for negotiating, structuring and drafting agreements for corporate transactions such as acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, complex financing facilities, RFPs, letters of intent, non-disclosure agreements, real estate purchase agreements, employment-related agreements, etc. Sharon also provides legal and business guidance in corporate law and governance, regulatory and compliance matters, real property matters and intellectual property matters. Additionally, Sharon is responsible for Human Resources and employment and labor matters. Lastly, they manage the selection and supervision of outside counsel for corporate projects and litigation.

Sharon Marshall has a Doctor of Law from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, a Master of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clark University. Sharon also has a certificate in family and divorce mediation from the New York Center for Interpersonal Development and a certificate in basic mediation from the same organization.
