Kathy Maggio

Kathy Maggio is the Director of Property Integration.

Kathy joined Evergreen in 2018. As Director of Property Integration, Kathy collaborates closely with Evergreen’s Acquisitions, Development, and Property Management teams to manage the transition of new developments from inception through stabilization. For fee-managed developments, Kathy works with third-party owners on acquisition due diligence, and integrates Evergreen’s systems and best practices with each asset, ensuring a smooth management transition and timely stabilization. Kathy oversees all lease-ups for new construction developments and the completion of the initial income certification process for LIHTC syndications. Kathy has 22 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Before joining Evergreen, Kathy began her affordable housing career at Metroplex, Inc., where she worked as a property accountant, assistant controller, and vice president of operations. In 2015, Related Management acquired Metroplex, and Kathy maintained her role as vice president of operations. She was responsible for completing acquisition due diligence for the company’s Acquisitions and Development groups in New York and Chicago. In addition, Kathy assisted with the oversight of property management operations. Before joining Metroplex, Kathy was an accounting manager at Catalano, Caboor, and Company, a public accounting firm. Kathy is a North Central College graduate, and a registered CPA in Illinois. She also holds Managing Broker’s Licenses in Illinois, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.
