Gary Johnson

Gary Johnson has extensive experience in information security and IT infrastructure, currently serving as Sr Director of Security and Infrastructure at Evergy since January 2016. Prior to this role, Gary Johnson held the position of Sr. Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure at Kansas City Power & Light for a brief period in early 2016. From December 2005 to January 2016, Gary Johnson was Vice President of Security at Cerner Corporation, overseeing all aspects of security. Earlier roles include Vice President positions in engineering and operations at Birch Telecom and XO Communications, as well as consulting for Critical Technologies. Gary Johnson pursued studies in Information Services Management at Potomac College from 1992 to 1994.
