John Patrick Jones Pe

John Patrick Jones MS PE is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in structural and bridge design. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Evergy since October 2019, John manages structural and civil projects. Prior to this role, John was an Assistant City Engineer for the City of Hutchinson for a brief period, focusing on transportation infrastructure and structural evaluations. John spent over a decade at the Kansas Department of Transportation, where responsibilities included serving as State Bridge Design Engineer and Assistant Bureau Chief, overseeing bridge design activities and national representation. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas.
