Jim Barrett

Jim Barrett has over three decades of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Technical Support Specialist at enfinium since November 2023, following a tenure as Plant Manager and Interim Technical Advisor at Bioenergy Infrastructure Group. Their career includes significant roles such as General Manager of Al Ezzel Operations and Maintenance, overseeing major power plants in Bahrain, and Engineering Manager at both Centrica and EDF Energy, where responsibilities spanned major outage planning and maintenance activities for fleets of power stations. Previously, Jim Barrett was the Power Plant Manager at Keadby CCGT Power Station during its commissioning and operational phases, and Chief Engineer for ABB O&M Ltd, managing maintenance and operational support for a CCGT power plant. Jim Barrett holds a BSc in Engineering/Industrial Management from the Open University, and early education was completed at St Christophers Cof E School Accrington.
